We've been playing, snuggling, grooming, exploring and snuggling some more, all morning. The look he gets on his face if he sees me crying is heart breaking so I'm determined to take more deep breaths and concentrate on what I have, rather than on what I've lost. I can carry Madoc in my arms, but I will always carry Boudicca, Sophie Stinky Toes and Morgan in my heart. Still working up the energy to put together some photos of my angels. Maybe by tomorrow.

4. Cats can be very perceptive about their humans.

Madoc no doubt misses his companions, even though he doesn't know why they are gone. Since it is now just him and you, he is probably feeling closer to you for company. So he picks up on your moods easily. You perceived sadness in him when you first got him and gave him attention to perk him up. Maybe it's not too much of a stretch to think that he is ready to return the favor. Cats learn from imitation and experience. You came to him when he was sad and now he perceives that you are sad.

It's healthy to focus on what you have, while also letting yourself grieve when you need to. Madoc's need for company will assure that you don't forget what you have.

You are going to be so stunned and amazed when you feel your babies-curling up to live in the epicenter of your heart hence forth. Make room for them beautiful Siwan. They are with you in infinitely more powerful ways than the embodied spirit. You are so blessed. Let the tears wash your heart clean to create a peaceful nest.
