I once had a bread stealing cat. He would mow right down the center of a wrapped loaf of bread and chew out a trench . I bought a Tupperware box which did not have a tight seal... he figured out how to get the lid off and tore up that bread.

Keeping bread in the refrigerator was the only solution.

Some cats destroy paper towels and TP. This one devoured bread

He'd tear open the plastic bag and gnaw big chunks out of the loaf. He also loved corn husks. Cats...

Shortly after we adopted Logan and brought him home, I left a loaf of bread on the kitchen counter without giving it a thought. I'd had many cats before, and none of them were ever the least bit interested in bread. Came back to find the bag ripped open and a huge chunk bitten out of it. Welcome home, Logan!

He passed away in 2018, and his successor, Willow, has no interest in bread, just like every other cat I've ever had.

14. This is Madoc, about a week after I brought him and his siblings inside

I think I took this photo shortly after I gave them all a flea bath. He used to be quite vocal. He's pretty quiet, now, except at meal time or when he's feeling extra affectionate.
