Related: About this forumIt's been a very busy day.
Being so consistently and unbelievably adorable has exhausted these kittens.

(26,260 posts)For the first few days she stayed really close to the crate, and then transitioned to a bench that's outside of the garden. Now I really just see her at meal times.
Today was the day I thought I'd be taking them in, since they are now 4 weeks old and can start eating solid food along with kitten milk. It was two of them having infected eyes that pushed up the date. Thanks to the antibiotic and eye drops, it looks like all 4 kitten's eyes are clear and infection free, but they still have another week to go before they get checked, again. AND de-wormed.
I LOVE socializing kittens and have, so far, been lucky to find homes for them. But there are better ways to cut down on the feral population. Fingers crossed we can trap the mom, and the rest of the ferals, and get them TNR'd.
very cute! Thanks for posting all the pictures of them and all their adventures ☺️

(1,967 posts)With all the bad news and difficulties these days, it's nice that you are posting reminders that some things, for example your kitty cats, are still bringing us great pleasure.
Keep the photos coming.

(487 posts)She had FIP which is deadly. We got medicine from China and she survived all odds. Then she got pneumonia twice. Three times the vet said it was time to euthanize her. She is sleeping and purring on my lap.
There is that old belief in cats having 9 lives!

Thanks for this photo! I need things to keep my mind off all the damn bad news.
I DO NOT LIKE being rendered a second-class citizen. And I WILL vote accordingly (until the rat-bastards try to take MY right to vote away)!
But I must admit I have considered changing my voter registration to GOP so I can stay in the game, even if its by stealth. Theyll wonder who that is - whos voting against everything they want to force-feed the rest of us.
Id only do it to be a spy on the enemy.

(26,260 posts)And what better than kittens!
As tired as I am, I feel absolutely blessed to have these babies (and my two fur boys) to keep me focused. They do more to tamp down my anxiety than all the medication in the world.
And, I DO NOT LIKE IT, EITHER!!!!! We're planning on attending the rally in Flint on Saturday.

(81,220 posts)I have three fur babies. And stroking their fur and tickling them under their chins is definitely comforting and sustaining. The oldest is age two. The others will be one year old by midsummer.
LOVE those little biddies!
