Well, shoot... I thought this was suppose to show automatically... what did I do wrong?

1. I use a site called imgur.com

If you upload your photos to that site, you can do a direct link to the image itself and then it should show up. DU has a 'preview' feature so you can check your post before you publish it. I don't have facebook anymore so I don't know how you might be able to do it from there. Good luck!

2. I set up an imgur account

I tried to do the link, and I can't get it to work, so I'm not doing something right. I clicked the "link" button and added the link address but it just shows the link address when I do the preview.

I've got a pic of her and my enormous dog. She's got the dog wound around her little paw. But I can't seem to get the hang of how to post a picture around here. First time in my life I've ever had trouble doing that! Guess it was a bit of gray matter that went first! (LOL)

6. It's been so long

since I've had a baby... I'm really enjoying every minute with this one. I figure I'll not be able to keep up with another one. This one's keeping me hopping! (LOL) Came in a little while ago, and she was curled up so cute in my hubby's lap. Of course, I've got jealousy going on around here, so I'm trying to do reassurances to everyone that they're all my babies. You know how that goes. I didn't sleep last night, so I did an extended play date with the twins in bed this morning. They're sacked out in bed, sound asleep right now and I'm getting ready to bake cookies! I figure we'll need something to snack on for the hearings tonight, and I'm all out of popcorn!

Did you use the link button? I did the copy address into the link box when it popped up. Is that what you did? Grrrrr.... frustration... That's okay. Rachel's getting ready to come on any minute now. I'm gonna go over to my easy chair and hold this baby for a little bit. Just finished supper. Dishes are done. So, I'm ready for the hearings, except for having the baby in my arms (gryn)...

I hurt so bad when I lost my Sweetie to a diabetic crisis, I honestly didn't think I'd get over losing him. I still haven't, but Luna has made the pain hurt a little less. She's just today begun to learn what jumping and leaping is, lord help me! LOL! I introduced her to the red dot this afternoon. She's still a little too young for that to hold her attention for very long yet, but it sure did upset my Bootsie girl (we don't call that toy "Bootsie's toy" for nothing!). So I've got some makeup playtime to do later on tonight with her.

and I was so frustrated, I know I didn't do that. I apologize. That was rude. I'm very much appreciative you somehow took my link and made it work. Please forgive my frustration level. It tends to be set a little higher these days with tech than it used to be, though that's no excuse for sheer rudeness!

Tech frustrates me all the time too and I used to build computers out of parts back in the 90s. I didn't take your post as rudeness at all. I just usually sign off in the early evening so I just saw this now. I don't use the link button I just paste the URL of the photo's address right into the body of the message text.
