She has also discovered the luxury of tunneling beneath the comforter and snuggling up next to me. Sophie used to do that.

1. I totally get it...

... I just adopted a new dog a couple of weeks ago... Each day she does something new that let's me know she's acclimating to and trusting me... She's a six year old mini-pin and chihuahua mix... She's slept under the covers with me since day one, and just the other day she started brining me her floppy "orange chicky" to me... Each of these little milestones is a gift, in my opinion.

Pardon me, is Lady Carys a cat or a dog? Congratulations on having her, Siwsan!

8. She's a beautiful grey kitcat. Here's a picture

My friend and I managed to catch her, her brother Space Boy and sister Moon Dust, back in October. They were 4 month old feral kittens. She's been a challenge to socialize, but every day is a step or two forward. Her siblings were adopted by a couple of my friends so I get to keep in contact with them.

So far I've rescued and re-homed 11 feral kittens. I kept four.

3. She is finally figuring out you exist to love & serve the kitties

Smart girl she is!

My senior rescue girl insists on sleeping under the covers with me. It's a routine. She eats (of course!) Then sits & waits while I make the comforter just so, to her liking.

15. It is still that soft kitten texture fur

Arthur's was, until recently, but now he's got that 'big boy' fur. I hope Carys stays this soft.

16. Had a Scottish

Fold years ago and her fur stayed soft and dense all her life. She was such a sweet cat! She had that round face and those little folded ears. Talking about her makes me miss her even though she’s been gone many years now. Her name was Holly.

14. Carys wants to play fetch.

I had a cat that used to do that with pull tabs back in the day. We would play fetch all day long, never got tired.

Give it a go and see if Carys fetches and brings it back to you.
