1. You can not get in until any fire arm is inspected which is where the shotgun discharged - at the inspection station BEFORE entering the gun show.

2. Ammunition and fire arms come in and go out seperate entrances and exits. Further, they are segregated by fencing or other barriers - always. This is due to common sense and insurance requirements.
