Known violent man waves AK47 around the Virginia state house.

“I’m going to kill you. I’m going to beat your head in,” and then attempted to make good on his promise.

When the man attempted to escape his beating, Morrissey “smashed his head into the corner of a brick wall,” according to a court filing by the victim’s lawyers.

In 2002, a jury decided that Morrissey must pay his victim $40,000 in compensatory damages and $1,000,000 in punitive damages.

Delegate Jim Morrissey, brought an AK 47 (well not really an AK 47, but the press and our leaders has lied so much, that is what people will think anyway)to the Virginia statehouse, the rifle appeared to be loaded, he started waving it around with his thumb on the trigger..... EDITED TO ADD, FOOTNOTE...that rifle has been BANNED from import, since about 1989......

BTW, Guess which side is winning in the Virginia legislature this year?? I will give you a clue, one group, had the room filled, and a line out the door, down the hall, and outside the building...the other side, had ONE person, who stated she had more members than the other side than went into an incoherent spiel that made such little sense as to be embarrassing to all present, including us, and the poor legislators that to their credit, heard her out.

Many many bad laws, has already been consigned to the trash heap, and many good laws are going forward!

It's not exactly a site that displays the Shining Truth. What's next, The Blaze? I would click on a more neutral source, I will never visit that pathetic excuse for a site. Do you remember all that bigotry he was ginning up because President Obama sounded too "Black" in a 7 year old speech? What the hell was that?

That looks like a AWB ban compliant WASR-10 type clone, no muzzle device, bayonet lug or pistol grip. They're still available to this day in that same configuration.

If it's Russian or Chinese then yeah, been banned from importation for years.

I can tell it is, because I have one...the nice thumb hole stock, thick rubber butt pad, the nice blond wood, the way the fore grip is made, and the bare metal bolt carrier. Even the the dog collared sling points to it's Chinese heritage. Many Norinco's did not have bayonet lugs. Your may be thinking of the high-end Norincos, otherwise known as the "Polytechs" IMHO the Norincos and especially the Polytechs are among the best built and robust AK type rifles I have ever held, owned and fired. Norinco's and Polytechs command BIG bucks when they come up for sale. Several times the original asking price. I think the last Polytech I saw for sale went for $2,000 and that was BEFORE all this silly gun ban talk.

I even have an RPK type (NMH91)from the PRE-pre ban era..
