(18,318 posts)The point you missed was actually a well-lit boulder. He doesn't like guns and violence. But he knows he needs a gun. Some other folks in the news fit that category, but are less hypocritical than this fellow.
Me? I'll keep mine whether or not others give up theirs. I enjoy shooting & hunting. And am not disabused of the notion some punk home invaders may choose other weapons.

(15,396 posts)Sure lot's of people have firearms for self defense and public safety, but they need to be introduced to whole firearm experience.
Someone they know and trust needs to introduce them to target shooting, maybe even hunting. There's a never ending source of pleasure and fun with firearms that many don't even consider.
Together we can stand this storm and push back and expand our freedom.
