the ones put out by the NSSF and NRA sound like military training films from the 1960s.

(18,318 posts)Who is it for and why? I could imagine a more direct and tasteful ad for keeping guns secure at home, but it's kind of dull, too, though less dissonant. That Stupor Bowl reject?
Hard to find good help.

(26,602 posts)are dumbasses are almost never aware of the fact, so anyone who might benefit from the message won't realize it's meant for them. (And if they do realize it, they're more likely to get all stuffy and contrarian and do even more stupid stuff, 'cause that's what dumbasses do...)

I don'tknow if it is the best way to create change but at least they are thinking outside the box

(843 posts)The theme of the video clip is that the Second Amendment to the Constitution confers a right on the citizens; it does not. The right to keep and bear arms is a preexisting right that precedes the institution of the Government of the United States. The Second Amendment places a restriction on the Federal Government to interfere with the position of arms by the citizens.
The Second Amendment does not give the people the "right to own a gun", in fact it does not mention the word "gun" at all.
