Sounds like their frustration is getting the best of them. Good.

1. Thrashing about demonizing in any way possible. Sometimes I just shake my head

head and walk away. The name calling, broad brushing, insulting, attempts at shunning etc. etc. are embarrassing tactics that cost credibility.

Why is it so hard to accept that there are liberals who own, use, enjoy and advocate firearms? I look at a state like Vermont and question the wisdom and rationality of restrictive, technically unattainable and burdensome gun control proposals that I hear/read about. Poorly conceived unenforceable laws and unusable technology does not help. This is demonstrated by the somewhat regular reports of shootings and firearms accidents.

IMO a the firearms debate begins and ends with the second amendment. Period. And outside of a constitutional amendment (unlikely for the foreseeable future) it is here to stay.

Now. Lets encourage safety and work on reducing crime - read that as improve social and economic conditions and equality. Provide for universal health care - including mental health care. Forget the cash cow for the insurance companies - take care of the people.

4. Pretty tasteless doing that the week Otis McDonald passsed away

Services for Otis, who I'm pretty sure was not KKK connected, will be Friday.

There will be a pretty large crowd, as well as a few off duty cops to keep an eye on his house while everybody is gone.

This is one of the few ways left for them to spew hatred and intolerance without becoming pariahs in their own circles. It's just sad that they probably also consider themselves "liberal." They're anything but.
