(15,396 posts)I need one of these for my "truck" gun. I've taken it out for now, but really need to keep a duty sized pistol in my vehicle.
Back in the fall I was keeping my SR45 in the vehicle, but took it out this spring. It makes the perfect truck gun in the fact it's 11+1 of 45 goodness and easily as accurate as my P220.

(19,497 posts)Bloomberg took the money he has spent on gun control and instead spent it on subsidizing safe storage devices and safety classes?

(18,554 posts)on these lock boxes they could pass out 1,563,477 of them. One thinks if over one and a half million more handguns are secured it would reduce accidents.
The latest total gun lock total donation from#besmartforkids is 15,805. Funny it is in the same random number zone it has been in all month...
I'm sure they will announce where they are distributing those locks any day now

(18,479 posts)The same way some are against giving away new sterile syringes to IV drug users to prevent disease and against giving out condoms to prevent both disease and pregnancy, mostly all the control groups won't put their money into making a gun safer. Their overall solution is to remove as many guns from as many hands as possible.
If someone points out a group from either side of the issue, that actually finances an operation like that, I'd signup and make annual donations.
It doesn't make me feel better that some 1%er, who didn't buy a Ruger 9mm compact, but has enough money to actually BUY RUGER, pays a squad of guys to carry Rugers and protect him.
The 1% Bloomberg types don't want to make any guns or gun owners safer, they want to remove the guns.

(18,318 posts)researchers will begin to piece together data which will show what works and what doesn't regarding social problems. I believe Project Childsafe will be "what works."
