Isn't there a certain irony going on here that the NAACP is invoking a "shoot first" law for the defense?

(648 posts)... into the ceiling??? I admit I don't know the first thing about this case, except that no one was killed or injured by the defendant.
If someone is trying to equate this with the Martin/Zimmerman case, that's a big difference. We have a dead young man here, dead for no reason.

She should either have shot her assailant, or not displayed the weapon.
