a gun owner that guns are not the problem but gun toting criminals are.
This shooter was a law abiding gun owner up till the point when he shot someone.

By that logic I should be locked up because I just bought a new Glock pistol today. You'll never stop every tragedy and he shot two people, that could have been accomplished by a double barreled shotgun. So, unless you're willing to ban all firearms and risk another civil war the best solution is to allow people to arm themselves to protect against a random gunman who just snaps out of no where. You can't prevent every tragedy in life, sadly.

Committed a crime. Still more guns is not an answer. Only a fool can envision everyone carrying a gun and think society wouldn't de-evolve.

And low and behold, blood didn't pour through the streets despite what groups like the Brady Campaign swore would happen. If they were trying to be honest, at some point they'd have to admit they're just lying. I won't hold my breath though.

And hey, didn't this happen in a state that is notorious for having tough gun-control laws - and Snooki?

NJ gun laws are rather draconian. We don't use the 'S' word here but if a legislator should ever ask me what should be banned, well it starts with an 'S'...

I live in NJ and I don't watch or go to the Jersey Shore.
