I have to take second-hand information from the Brady bunch with a baseball-sized chunk of salt.

Now, I have seen the email asking for anecdotes of guns 'lost' in F&F to be used as justification for gun control, but I wouldn't immediately connect those dots.

I think those words could have come from the President or they could just be the delusion of a mad person.

That's what you get from the article. I think anyone can clearly see that "under-the-radar" in this context means politically "under-the-radar" because the pro-gun lobby is flush with right-winger cash and the gun nuts will march lock-step at the drop of a dime.

from the gun lobby is small amounts from grass roots activism. Some from the right, most from the center, a little less from the left.
The anti gun lobby is............ a couple of billionaires and a foundation. You are in lock step with a couple of billionaires.

What I actually got from the article was that either Sarah Brady needs to learn OpSec, or is making shit up.

So they must subvert the desire of the people to get their way.

more along the lines of using BATFE, Dept of Justice, and FBI to "promulgate" administrative codes such as the new requirement that FFLs in border states (with Mexico) must report sales of multiple multiple firearms to ATF or face fines and licensure revocations.

Of course, while no one in ATF, Department of Justice, and State Department are held accountable for moving semi-automatic "assault weapons" and military-grade fully-automatic weapons to the Mexican narco-gangs......

It doesn't make front page news until the damage is done most of the time.

Policies like F&F and Demand Letter 3. Afterall, you don't eat a fine steak in one bite, take small bites, one at a time.
