Fox News on my iPhone. I want it off, with prejudice

How can Apple even think of including Fox in their "News" section?

1. Is there a way to block such right-wing propaganda from my phone?

2. How best to let Apple know that this is intolerable and that they are contributing to the degradation of American democracy by spreading these hateful lies?

That action did not afford the opportunity to tell Apple why I deleted the app, but it doesn't show up now. Plus, I never looked for news using the app. I check the Washington Post, DKos, the NY Times, the LA Times and here. I dig deeper on stories that warrant it. I saw the Apple News feed if I scrolled to my phone's first page, but I never searched out the feed. In fact, besides disliking some of their sources, I hated that they were selecting stories for me. Big data, leave me alone!
