Woman stabbed at Lackland annex

SAN ANTONIO — The wife of an Air Force noncommissioned officer told authorities she was stabbed by a man Monday morning after he entered her apartment on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland's Medina Annex.

Security Forces troops responded to an emergency call and found her on the floor of her kitchen with a steak knife in her stomach, Joint Base San Antonio spokesman Brent Boller said.

She was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center, but her condition wasn't immediately known.

The victim identified the attacker as a white male, about 5 feet, 10 inches, wearing a camouflage airman battle uniform with tech sergeant stripes but no name tag.
