Airman's remarks about rape debated
By Sig Christenson : January 21, 2014 : Updated: January 21, 2014 8:41pm

SAN ANTONIO — An Air Force photographer told his alleged victim in a phone call monitored by investigators that he believed he raped her after plying her with alcohol.

Prosecutors and the defense wrestled Tuesday over the admissibility of his remarks, made in a call Air Force agents set up and listened to as part of the investigation.

Airman 1st Class Nathan Wilson-Crow is charged with 11 counts of rape, indecent exposure, improper sexual contact and providing alcohol to a minor.

The most serious charges accuse Wilson-Crow of sexual misconduct with O'Connor High students who were at Camp Eagle as part of a school-sponsored event.
