like a bridge, or a road, or a library, or a school. Oh, my bad! Those kind of investments return value to the community, not bucks to the 1% bank accounts.

Our values as a country are perverted.

One can point out that there is a lot of good, but I can see a tremendous amount of evil that continues to multiply and fester.

I love Daneel, Giskard & Bailey stories. Gis is my fave, though. The Zeroth Law.

a multi-tiered system where power and privilege are the least answerable to law while they expect the great majority to be subject to them.

And all the while we a fed a steady diet of reality show shit, depressed economy, rigged financial systems, corporate malfeasance, lobbyist fellating politicians and blind indolent cheerleaders to the whole lot above.

Laws are for the little guy.

The entire procurement process, stretching across not just decades but two centuries (the Twentieth and Twenty First) was a disgrace.

Reminds me of that tank movie that starred Olympia Dukakis and Kelsey Grammar...

Makes the phrase "Stay and Die For BHI" have new meaning....
