Anyone here use the Jitterbug phone?

It is targeted to Seniors - big numbers, easy to use, no bells and whistles.
I was about to recommend it to my father but reading the details, I see that the carrier is "GreatCall,inc".
So now I'm wondering how the coverage is.

Yes, no bells or whistles, just straight calling out, receiving incoming calls and voice mail. But for $22 a month, that's all I need. So far, the coverage is fine. It pretty much covers all the U.S. I would love to have a Smartphone, but I can't afford the monthly charge.

Have you seen the jitterbug 2?

internet, photo, recording.
I don't know what the monthly is.

I'm thinking about this.

I really want to be able to take pics with my phone.

6. I have the Jitterbug 2. I pay $35.00 a month.

It's also easy to use. Like, if you're receiving a call, the screen displays "Swipe". Al the other features are equally simple. I have the low option for data access because the only time I really need data is for the GPS info when I'm out. All other times I just use my desktop.

I have a Doro 618 PhoneEasy from Consumer Cellular. $60 for the phone, $9.50 a month plus various fees with the AARP discount. No contract. That plan costs for minutes, but you can get a 200 minute plan for just a few dollars more. It has a camera, but no other smarts. I have a snazzy red Doro. Reception has been good in the two states I am in. Big numbers on display, big keys and buttons.

7. maybe the do, but I've been with comumer cell for ten years and I haven't found anything

cheaper for talk, text and data. It uses AT&T cellular system. I have 750 min of talk, unlimited text and 3gb of data with three cell phones. 65 bucks.
