Do y'all get mail that says, "Medicare recipients--new

Coverage benefits available”. And it says you are eligible for additional benefits such as dental, vision, hearing, and won’t your phone number.

Are they just trying to sell you a Medicare supplement or additional dental or vision insurance?

offer more coverage options, but have some serious drawbacks. Have to use their network and they can drop you. Good for some but get all the facts.

Some people like MA plans because they can get most of the benefits of a supplement and drug plan, plus a little dental or eye coverage, for less than someone with traditional Medicare buying a supplement and separate drug plan.

But, other people don't like MA plans because you don't have access to any doctor, hospital, etc., that you might want. Some people believe these plans don't treat you as well when you get sick.

About 30% of Medicare beneficiaries choose Medicare Advantage Plans.

If one wants to save money and doesn't mind having to utilize a network or providers, it might be a way to save $100 - $200 a month.
