they sent me a letter, that their website with the important stuff, SS number and all personal information has been hacked. The PO has engaged Experian, for free, available for a year, to be able to watch for fraud associated with your name SS number and all that personal stuff.

(725 posts)I am also on several conversation boards with retired Postal people and no one has mentioned it. I noticed this says it is from "African American group". I assure everyone USPS does not separate out employee records by race.
Do not react to this by divulging personal info. I am afraid you are about to get had.

I put it on the GD board also, it, the warning has nothing to do with race. I was notified and well keep searching is all I can say. Jefferey C. Williamson, Human Resources Officer, and executive vice president...phone...good one that I've called...877-477-3273. Your fate is in your hands. I'm done with you.

(725 posts)I thought you might be a victim of "phishing" where they try to info from a victim. I did google it and there was a massive USPS data theft. The fact they have not contacted me may only mean I wasn't one of those they described as "affected".
