. I still haven't been able to watch Amistad, 12years a slave. Hell I can't even watch Rwanda yet. But I'm working up to it. I'll be watching this one also. It's the total inhumanity and hate that I cannot fathom. How one race can consider themselves justified in their racial supremacy to send millions of people to a certain early grave is beyond me. And we see a resurgence today of this same mentality. On a smaller scale grant you, but without constant monitoring, we could be fighting for our very lives any day now.

They made it back. I cried when they finally made it home.
It's crazy how the same shit is going on right now today, in a different way. It's loooong, but really moving. I put it up there with roots.
I plan on buying it so I can rewatch it over and over.
