What is going on with Bravenak?

The buzz earlier has got me curious after being so intense a few days ago and then fading.

Is she still OK and what is the status of her dealings with the USPS? Were they of any help in this matter?

I stay out of the AA group as I am not a member and basically none of my bizz, but I was concerned about her, enjoy her posts as they get to GD, and have now followed them back here. What's with all the time outs for AA members?

Now that I look back in curiosity, WTF?

I went back and read some of her posts as suggested and really didn't see much that was remotely hide worthy although when asked to serve on juries, I rarely if ever vote to hide anything unless totally over the top insulting goes on. Think I only did that like, once.

And stopped when I saw this title.
I wondered the same thing, but was told the other day by #23 that Bravenak was off DU (by her own choice). I just wanted to read the comments and add that she was one of the writers that lured me into joining DU to begin with.
Then I read comment #8 and how it was hidden.
By cowards who didn't want an honest assessment to clutter up their narrative.
Seriously, I've only been active for coming on 4 months after 5-6 months of lurking and even I can see the chicken shit piling up on the coop floor.

I would seriously be surprised. This place is toxic. Even reading GD/GDP gives me the eebie jeebies.

I read one post (current) that had a response in it by someone I greatly admire (she's another Group Host) that lead to a post from August 10th.

In this post - a long time member called for any supporters of the BLM movement to be removed from the site. I think that would have included just about every AfAm member of DU. The guy goes off about one supporter supporting Sister Sarah Alaskastan (when this woman was a teenager mind you) and that was supposed to be the end of ALL black folks in the Democratic Party. Failed to see how for a few years - a whole bunch of people at DU have been against the Democratic Party.

It's that kind of nonsense that makes me state in writing: I don't want to be the company I keep. (Present company - yourself included.) I want nothing to do with these people.
