Stephon Clark

March 18, Sacramento, California, shot 20 times, less than 20 second after police arrive. We as Americans, especially the minorities of ameriKKKa have a never ending story of policy brutality in which there really is no guarantee, after a police stop, of living past that stop. Hell civilians can gun down unarmed AA young people and walk. Not a word here, that I can find on DU proper but maybe I just missed this story in all the dust and chaos of Parkland and MFL?

I usually avoid them, but I started thinking that we need to know what is happening. It was horrifying to see how quickly the shoot-first cops reacted to what was just a glimpse of a person...it could have been a child, an elderly lady walking in her yard, and there is no way in hell they thought they saw a gun. The massive overkill with multiple guns being emptied is nothing more than piss poor training and NO self-discipline. If these cops are always getting to walk away, nothing is going to change.

you would NOT believe the things in hands or the disobeying of orders that goes on all day long.

NOBODY gets shot, they are white. They dont even pull their guns half the time.

Our husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, daughters, and sons matter. Say their names, America.
Rekia Boyd
Sam Dubose
Miriam Carey
Darius Stewart
Tony Robertson
Spenser McCain
Tarika Wilson
Victor Emanuel Larosa
Eric Harris
Shereese Francis
Eric Garner (Not shot, choked out, still unarmed and murdered)
Anthony Hill
and too many more.

Just a note: This is a completely different set of names from a previous post. Sadly, there are many to choose from.
