Maybe this is just what we need.

All players - white, black, and others - should agree to do one of two things. One, all stay in the locker room. Two, all kneel. Every team at every game. This would be a stupendous show of diversity, commitment, and camaraderie.

And if whites and others can't get behind that, then every African-American player should take one of those two actions. This would be a stupendous show of the racial divide in this country and could have some seriously adverse impacts on teams, teamwork, ownership/management. But so fucking what. Force those white billionaires to fess up to their racism and demonstrate their lip service, if even that, to diversity, etc.

I'm cynical that this is being normalized as the ameriKKKan face, in charge. All others underfoot in the fascist dictatorship. That's what I'm taking a knee for. Also, the unarmed and legally carrying but wearing the wrong color of skin, dead and wounded, in the ongoing 'pogrom' by RW extremist fearful of losing their racial majority in our democracy.

So, irreparably damage and change that democracy to maintain 'hold' over the populace through draconian measures. Am I just being paranoid?
