There is nothing she could add to the dialog that would help the situation. That's from my point of view.

From her point of view (guessing, here) it's a snake pit of a situation and could come back to bite her if or when she declares. Nothing positive (for her) could come out of any possible comment she could make.

8. Leader or politician?

Pres. Obama, Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders are leaders -- they speak to a critical issue developing in our country.

Hillary Clinton is a politician waiting to see how this turns out before commenting.

I guess. If she is going to lead a nation, presumably, then leadership is desired by me, on all issues, whether she's sitting in the POTUS seat or not. Brazile said Clinton should have no comment past the showing of remorse for the murder. Others said it might(probably) will be seen as political pandering. Okay. I guess I shouldn't have asked if she had "laryngitis.

The pres. spoke briefly about. His statements are NOT political. I AM surprised the right wing nuts haven't really jumped in blaming Obama for the whole mess.

I can't imagine that she would not side with the protesters. ( Some people consider Bill Clinton the first black president). She has been quiet about this current travesty. I believe she supports equality.

but it really is like someone said in this thread and I myself said months ago, in knowing my history, this whole situation is like the 30's in pre-war germany as it turned into a fascist dictatorship. Just reading the account of the legal observer being arrested. The targeting of young black males for arrest and harassment. This is truly a situation where true leaders need to speak up about the murder of Michael Brown and the reaction. After reading many accounts of how Ferguson authorities have treated the minority community, I now understand the built up frustration and anger being vented. And I state that everything that has happened is the direct result of racism and ignorance on the part of Ferguson's 'leaders'.

Is everyone that afraid of the white wing reaction if they speak up about this injustice. Geez they're cowering in the corner saying, "don't hit me again". SPEAK THE FUCK UP!!!!! 'Leaders'.

in the first election.

There are many of them who wont approve of her sticking up for Brown when she doesnt absolutely have to.

Sticky situation, but lets realize that as much as I am not a fan, she is still three hundred and ninety four million times better than any rightwinger...

but not, by much, in my book. But you are right, racism is an important component in american politics on both sides of the aisle. If she wins, the sexist pigs that will come out their closets should be an interesting exposure/experience, just like Obama has made the exposure of the virulent racism of amerikkka apparent to the whole world and I am glad it has been exposed. It is so revealing in how his election has brought the racist out of the sewers, swamps, toilets, closets and from under the rocks and shown the world, like the ongoing Ferguson incident, like the recent Trayvon Martin incident, the NYC chokehold incident, what amerikkka is still grappling with since our slave trade brought the first african slave to the 'new world', same as the old world........

http://time.com/3209323/hillary-clinton-ferguson-michael-brown/

"We can't ignore the inequities that persist in our justice system that undermine our most deeply held values of fairness and equality"

“Imagine what we would feel and what we would do if white drivers were three times as likely to be searched by police during a traffic stop as black drivers, instead of the other way around,” Clinton said, “if white offenders received prison sentences 10% longer than black offenders for the same crimes, if a third of all white men — just look at this room and take one third — went to prison during their lifetime. Imagine that. That is the reality in the lives of so many of our fellow Americans and so many of the communities in which they live.”

Clinton noted that her remarks fell on the 51st anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech during the 1963 March on Washington. “That mission is as fiercely urgent today as when he stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in the hot August sun all those years ago,” she said. “So we have a lot of work to do together.”

She know she and her husband fucked up in 2007-2008 and now she is pretending to care about the plight of black folk.

Too little, too late, BILLary!

Fuck you and your husband.

Can't stand the Clintons, and I'm sick of everyone licking their asses, too.

There, I said it.
