Don't you hate when your comic switches artists?

Loved Ten Grand. Thought it was a very cool story concept. Picked it up initially because Templesmith was the artist and he's one of my favorites. 5th issue came out and Templesmith quit because of too many other projects and now it's just not the same.

First world problem, for sure.

The new artist for Ten Grand looks really promising, so I'm cool with that switch.

I remember being so shocked at how bad Mike Choi's art was for a fill-in issue of Green Lantern that I couldn't even read the whole thing. I still won't by a book with his name on the cover.

if I wasn't such a geek for Templesmith, I would probably like this new artist. But as soon as I opened it, my first thought with the first panel was "What is this shit?" So I'm sure that tainted my perception of the whole book. I do agree with their statement in the back that the switch coming as the storyline switches "venues" helps.

Mike Choi.
