I effing loved it when couples flubbed their vows or ring exchange and lost their minds with laughter. I had one couple who couldn't recover. The bride managed to choke out "skip everything else, declare us married now!"
I did. (FYI, vows and ring exchange are not required for a legal marriage. I told all my couples this at our intake meeting.) Cued the harpist for the recessional and we c ended it there.
So wish I had video of that one!!!! Not a dry eye in the house either.
Oddly, ran into them last Spring. Still happily married with three little girls now.
