Albuquerque shop owner has to let shoplifter go because police wouldn't respond

An Albuquerque antique store owner says he caught a shoplifter red-handed, but had to let him go when police failed to show up and arrest him.
A shopperlifter is busted with merchandise in his pockets at 2:07 PM – owner Bob Harrington calls 911.

Harrington let the shoplifter go home with his nephew at 5 p.m. when the store closed.
Police say a sergeant did finally stop in at 6:03 p.m., but the door was locked and the lights were out.
