he used to do an online boot camp. And his website has all sorts of links and cool advice if I remember. He is a cool writer. His site had a great sense of community. The links and boot camp are probably still there. I actually like him and his work ethic a bit more than I like all his writing but he is definitely adventurous and worth knowing about. His site turned me on to Amy Hempel, an awesome short story writer. Her work as well as interviews with her are available online.

Amy Hempel's writing teacher was Gordon Lish who discovered Raymond Carver and was ficiton editor for Esquire Magazine for years.
