Are there any collaborative online writing sites still up?

These were popular 10 years ago and some even more recently. Now they almost all seem to be gone. Some have turned into games, with "cards" to play in the story, which is ok if that's all there is out there. The only one I can find even a tiny bit active is storium.com, and it seemed to start dwindling in 2015 (based on reddit comments) so I'm a bit late to that party. I always loved collaborative writing, and it seems like an ideal activity for these COVID times, but I'm coming up empty-handed in searches.

Anyone know? And sincere apologies if this is off-topic for this group, but it's the only writing one I could find here.

But kicking.

Sounds like a great way to get stream of consciousness writing jump started!

Stories go in directions you didn't see coming, you can add your own twists, very creative. There used to be a lot of them.

Somehow we would just need to figure out how to show the ongoing story in a single post. Perhaps a moderator (story creator?) who would pick the next excerpt to include, but how to get it in one post so it has decent continuity. This could be a lot of fun. Lots of writers here ready to contribute. I am blank on the logistics, though. Easy to set word counts for contributions and a story length, but how to present it as it moves forward?

The site I discovered deals with a clandestine organization that deals with anomalous...things in general, that anyone is free to add to, take elements from and/or create whole new related universes to using common themes.

It's the SCP foundation, and I've been addicted to it's stories ever since I first found it.

Careful though, you can get lost in there...lol!
