It makes up for me not rooting for any NFL team.

Look - I rooted for the A's before there was the Rangers. And I rooted for the Rangers and Cubs before there was the Rockies. I go waaaaay back.

I was a Royals fan in there too.

When was that? 1968 to 1972?

The real question is who was I a fan of when I was born in 1951? It probably would have been the Kansas City Monarchs with Satchel Paige. But he was with the Brownies by then.
