Olympics closing ceremony...

Our house really liked it (still an hour to go)...was really fun to see all those acts
that I loved...when I was young(er). Don't remind me...

Annie Lennox. Fabulous!

And I'm getting ready to be totally depressed with Olympics withdrawal in the morning...what a hang over that's gonna be.

The Americans' uniforms for the closing ceremony were even worse than the ones they wore at the Opening Ceremony!!!

Saw a few minutes...sort of like the Opening where NBC's camera angles were bothering me...not sure why Russell Brand was singing...other than George Michael I don't think anyone was actually singing live.

I kept thinking...where are the Americans?

Oh...there they are...in the unidentifiable white outfits.

NOT that I would ever agree with any of the ConservaTurds BUT...what idiot did all these outfits? Many times
I couldn't tell who the Americans were. Russia (my favorite, from the aspect of that design on everything and RUSSIA in BIG lettering)...China...Australia...Brazil...all consistent colors and easy to spot. The U.S. track outfits were pretty easy to see
and that should have been with all the other sports.

He definitely did the opening uniforms, for which he made a nice profit...using Chinese labor that costs about 50 cents per hour...the whole thing stinks...make a profit when you're supposed to be doing it for your country.

That said, Greece had great opening uniforms, blue blazers and open collar blue striped shirts...casual and not over the top.

And of all the songs that were sung, whether at the opening or closing ceremonies, I found it both touching and incredibly funny that the most people singing along occurred during "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life."

Life's a piece of shit, when you look at it... conveniently beeped out for us puritans in the States.
