blow up the BCS

This is the absolute worst pathetic championship format ever. I can not believe this total crap. Only 2 teams per conference. It has made every bowl meaningless. It totally devalues everything. All games should end on Jan. 1.

Real playoffs make the regular season much more exciting.

My team lost in the second round but it was still exciting and great to watch.

I feel they were making things worse by leaving things up to a selection committee. I personally would keep the BCS rankings as I feel they do a pretty good job ranking teams and have a top-4 playoff (to keep the importance of the regular season). Of course that would mean 3 SEC teams in the playoff which I'm fine with. Top 8 would probably be ideal in making sure Oregon, K-St have a shot (BSU previous seasons) but I feel you get into situations where you giving teams a chance where they have 2 or more losses.

and that is Oregon-Kansas State. When the best you can offer is Oregon-Kansas State, you have a fucked up mess created by a bunch of incompetent buffoons. These BCS bowls are not worth watching....

Northern Illinois-Florida State

Stanford-Wisconsin

Florida-Louisville

5 of the 11 best teams in the country are not among the 10 teams playing in the 5 BCS games. In over 50 years of watching college football, I've never seen such a cluster-fuck.

when we had great bowls with the final being the Orange Bowl with Nebraska and Miami for the championship. I remember when we would watch the Cotton(when it was big) or Sugar followed by the Rose and finishing up with the Orange. Eating chex mix and going blurry eyed by so much TV. Man was that a great day and it was passed down from Father to son. Now we have morons running it and we get Northeren Illinois. remember when bowls meant something.

Always liked, especially during the years when they were among the nation's leaders in rushing attempts, primarily when they had Michael "The Burner" Turner. They had a lot of very good teams but never had a MAC Champion from 1983-2011. They have an excellent dual-threat QB who broke Denard Robinson's rushing yardage for a QB record. However, Florida St is a tough draw, for any team. They are #4 in pass D and an EJ Manuel who throws for about 8.9 YPA.

Just about the only thing positive I find about the BCS is they've done a much better job than the old way in giving the have-nots an opportunity to play in the big bowls. NIU finished w/ a higher ranking than either BCS Louisville(who NIU has a significantly stronger power rating than) or Wisconsin(which was a requirement, if a team from a smaller conference has a better ranking then automatic conferences, seems only fair) so their selection doesn't bother me.
