(49,533 posts)Not a fan of the "I'll just outscore you" route that football on all levels seems to be taking, so I'm much more intrigued by these games that feature defensive stops, oh, once in a while. To battle back from a 16-0 halftime deficit, tie the game at the end of regulation, and block a FG for the win? Beautiful football.

(16,113 posts)Thankfully there's the Rose bowl today and the "I don't belong in a bowl game" Fight Hunger Bowl where Illinois managed to beat UCLA, and someone has to win those.
