All living in the most godforsaken parts of the West, eatin' sand critters and cactus?

Why have they gone there? It's troubling.

But I would hardly call L.A. County one of "the most godforsaken parts of the West".

Proof that there are more Texans there than Coloradians.

Great map!

Texans fans? Don't let Dallas take over!

Hinsdale County is the third least densely populated of the 64 counties of the State of Colorado of the United States. The county population was 843 at 2010 census.[1] The county seat and the only municipality in the county is the Town of Lake City. Hinsdale County is named for George A. Hinsdale, a prominent pioneer and former Lt. Governor of Colorado. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinsdale_County,_Colorado

About 30 or more years ago a Texas legislator put in a bill to make the area around Lake City a Texas State Park.

I must admit that I am a part of the Texas invasion. In 1962 and '63 I went to Ute Trail Boys Ranch just to the north of Lake City in Gunnison County. All of the boys and staff were Texans as was the owner. Then in 1980 I moved to Colorado permanently.

Four more maps, each showing the country's fandom prior to each round of the playoffs, only including the teams still alive. Allegiances remain largely geographical, but Patriots fans gradually spread across the nation like mange.
