you could say the play calling in the last 52 seconds was conservative..but how was Shaw supposed to figure his kicker was going to miss a FG he's been kicking all year? And more importantly..how does that make Shaw a jerk?

Btw, I listened to Stanford's post game show on KNBR...Shaw was interviewed and he was anything but an ass when asked about Williamson. Perhaps you ought to stick to stuff you know..and lay off sites with an obvious anti Stanford agenda..

I watched the way he reacted to the kicker when he ran off to the sidelines. That makes him a jerk, IMO. Luck, who I've previously thought as inflated, earned a bit of respect from me. To each his own.

I don't blame them...a tough loss and he handled the interviews after well...he's definitely ready for prime time.

He handled the loss, and the kicker, with grace. I think he could do okay...given a couple behind Manning (if he comes back).

I do think Luck will do well...I just hope he has at least a year to learn...throwing a new guy right in often doesn't work...of course, Newton and Stafford are proving me wrong, but I can think of many more who never really had a chance to learn before they were expected to perform.
