The alternative is too frightening to contemplate...

I'm thinking Creighton, or if that fails, Michigan State. The minor disturbance in The Force should be smoothed out within a week or so.

ABC here (don't care for that powder blue!)....actually would love to see State make a run - and watching Miami has been really inspiring as well. Larranaga seems like a great coach - wouldn't mind Miami going for it all!

I haven't forgotten the incident where Elton Brand chose to bolt Duke for the NBA, and the "Cameron Crazies" were all over him for that.

Sad to say, but I'm probably the only Duke fan in the whole DU universe. I'm an ABCer of course (NC State undergrad, Duke grad) and was ok with Miami winning the ACC.

I do think the NCAA selection committee screwed NC State and UNC royally. Duke is screwed too (but some of it is self-imposed - thanks to losing to Maryland). If they were to make it past this weekend (and that's a big 'if'), I don't see them surviving the following weekend if Michigan State/Louisville make it through.

7. I've been a Duke fan since moving in 20 years ago, mainly because

as a New Englander Celtic Fan, Duke plays the style of Bball I most enjoy (team first and foremost). NC State is my second team...UNC last by far. (ABC indeed!) Yes, the committee was not kind to the ACC. Friday will be quite a day!
