http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/report-chris-kluwe-joining-raiders-142622457.htmlThe 31-year-old Kluwe had speculated that his release was due, in part, to his vocal support and advocacy for marriage equality, both nationally and in the state of Minnesota. Vikings GM Rick Spielman, who used a fifth-round pick in the 2013 NFL draft on punter Jeff Locke, denied that accusation, which he called "off-base". Kluwe finished the 2012 season with the highest net punting average of his career (39.7 yards), but ranked towards the bottom of the league in placing punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line and was one of three regular punters to not have at least one punt of 60 yards....
Off the field, Kluwe returns to California in the same week that Minnesota officially approved a marriage equality bill and at a time where many are awaiting a decision from the United States Supreme Court to overturn Proposition 8, a 2008 ballot measure that banned same-sex marriage in the state of California.
Raider Nation getting behind marriage equality would be the final nail in the coffin for the bigots out here!
But, what's Ayanbadejo doing working for Faux?

(47,534 posts)I rooted for them when they were the L.A. Raiders. I'm an almost total homer. (I've never rooted for the Clippers, and everybody knows the Angels are full of shit.)

(10,893 posts)but it's tough being a fan nowadays because they haven't done much in a decade since their last SB appearance. At first I didn't want to believe it when somebody said they are the NFL's equivalent of FOX News, but I think there's some truth in that after all. Just when I thought they were starting to turn the corner in 2010 by sweeping the division and then getting close to making the playoffs a year later, now those bums are rebuilding yet again...the only thing we have going in the O is the baseball team.
