49ers are pretty good. So they don't need any breaks from the stripes.

And they got one earlier in the game. Matthews hits Kapernick a little late, some guy from the 49ers takes a poke at Matthews, the officials call both penalties but they called them as offsetting penalties, down gets replayed. This made it third and six instead of fourth and one or two, which is what it should have been since both fouls were dead ball fouls. The niners then proceeded to score and the score was 14-7 instead of 10-7. The Packers scored a td right before halftime to "tie" the game. Except it likely should have been 14-10 at that point since the niners probably would have kicked a fg at that time. I propose that whenever the Packers travel to the west coast, they should have a say in the officiating crew since they get screwed out there a lot. Remember the Fail Mary? Remember the Rice fumble that wasn't called a fumble?
I certainly hope the NFL hierarchy pulls these guys in and explains rules to them.

Kap was clearly out of bounds and Mathews brought him down by his neck..If he hadn't had gone dirty and done it all, then the FG try would probably have then been forthcoming..

Btw, nice effort by Mr. Clean in faking a penalty in order to try and get the clock stopped there at the end..

I've never thought of Clay Mathews as a cheap shot artist..until today.

I hardly think a blown call in the first half decides a game though. Green Bay lost because they couldn't put enough pressure on Kaepernick or cover Boldin.

Heck of a game.

always have been. Lots of really old guys who can't see and tis is from a really old guy o can't see. Not knowing the rules is pretty inexcusable.

but I can't say much on Matthews' hit - he was out of line there. And I'm a huge fan.

At least it was close this time.
