Harbaugh to Packers’ Matthews: "Come with some knuckles, not an open slap"...

“I could see two punches thrown to Joe’s head -- well, one punch and one open slap, which . . . if you’re going to go to the face, come with some knuckles. I think that young man works very hard on being a tough guy. He’ll have some repairing to do to his image after the slap.”

Act like a headcoach and show some class. You NEVER would have heard that from Walsh.

plus linebackers, ends, nts, and safeties who play for other teams.

He's acting like a child.

Mathews was talking crap all week..then he took a cheap shot at Kap. Who cares what he and the rest of the Packers think about Harbaugh's remarks? They had all off season to stew over getting knocked out of last year's playoffs...didn't do them much good did it?

It's quickly become apparent that part of the strategy to beat the 49ers is to hurt Kap. As an ex player Harbaugh knows what's going on..what do you want him to do, ignore it?

Walsh didn't provide much to the media because he didn't like them. And no need to take more shots at Harbaugh, your dislike of him has been noted in the past..

I lived it, I saw it, I read about it. Voraciously.

Harbaughisms?

Let me break it to you: being a douchebag has never fashionable.

And let me break something of my own to you....one person's definition of "douchebag" is not necessarily that of anothers.

Anyway, you have at least 3 different favorite NFL teams, you criticize the 49ers HC, you don't like the new stadium...in lieu of these facts, lets just say it appears you've developed an anti 49er bias. Perhaps it would be a better use of your time if you spent it trying to prop up the Browns or the new "sensitive" Raiders...

Perhaps the right thing to do is NOT call out Mathews for not trying hard enough to hurt his guy. That's not "Standing up for your QB".

What happens if next time Mathews "comes with some knuckles" and knocks Kap out of the game?

the Walsh era is over..and has been for what is quickly going on 25 years. It's time to stop expecting every 49er HC to emulate him.

Jim Harbaugh does things his own way..and so far he has been successful everywhere he's been. He also provides the media with Harbaughisms. What's there to complain about?

But seriously, Harbaugh takes the motherfucking cake.

First he complains to the NFL and the media that the new rule will let the Packers hit his QB too hard. Then he complains that Matthews didn't hit his QB hard enough? I swear, if this guy couldn't coach, he'd be in the loony bin
