Earlier this year when I read the book A Few Seconds of Panic, about a journalist going through training camp with the Denver Broncos for the 2006 season. A part of it that caught my attention was that Jason Elam was writing a book about god, football, and terrorism.
It looks like I came across that book at the library and Monday Night Jihad is the title HE came up with.
I also learned he is a hard right conservative. When discussing his options for what team he would sign with after the Broncos, he said either a domed or a warm place. He said one team he could never play for is the New England Patriots because of "too many liberals" in Massachusetts.
Anyways, I couldn't stop laughing once I saw a title and decided to share. He seems to have written other books per Amazon -- http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=monday+night+jihad&tag=googhydr-20&index=stripbooks&hvadid=2896872591&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=532416221354985541&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_1x1xz1a7kj_b
