Packers’ Josh Sitton calls Lions’ coaches ‘scumbags,’ has more choice words for Jim Schwartz

Nothing like a little spicy appetizer to set up a Thanksgiving rivalry game.

Green Bay Packers offensive guard Josh Sitton left the filter at home when he joined WSSP 1250 Radio in Milwaukee and the topic of the Detroit Lions and their coaches came up.

Sitton was asked if he thought the Lions might issue some cheap shots on an injured Aaron Rodgers (who isn't likely to play in the game), and Sitton didn't hold back.

"Absolutely,” Sitton said. “I don't think there's any question about that. They go after quarterbacks. Their entire defense takes cheap shots all the time, that's what they do, that's who they are. They're a bunch of dirtbags, or scumbags. I mean, that's how they play.”

that has been a perennial loser for decades before that.

But unfortunately the method he chose to do so (to turn a losing attitude around) seems to have instilled an element of dirty play among some players. I don't think they are all dirtbags/scumbags but Suh is one of the worst offenders in the league.

Sitton's comments are out of line but not unfounded.
