Kirk Cousins will start for Redskins; RGIII to be inactive

Robert Griffin III not only is being sidelined, he will be inactive Sunday when the Washington Redskins take on the Atlanta Falcons.

NFL Media's Jeff Darlington reported Wednesday that Redskins players have been told Kirk Cousins will start and Rex Grossman will be the backup, according to a team source.

Earlier Wednesday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that the game plan for Sunday indicated that the Redskins appeared to be moving forward with Cousins at quarterback, according to two people who have seen the plan.

I figured everyone would be all over this!

So, declaring him inactive is better than being back-up? Anyway, might as well, and if for some reason they do well with Cousins, then wonder what that means for the fundy's future?

So I was not able to post about this on DU. Who is the fundy? I know Snyder is a douchebag, but is actually thinking about bring in St. Tebow to rescue the Washington NFL team?? Heh! I'll have to mention that to them tomorrow!!

Which, considering how Washington is doing, there isn't much opportunity for that!

Did RGIII mouth-off to Shanahan? Is Snyder making a play to draft higher?

Griffin should start if only to get more reps.

15. Didn't their 1st round pick get sent to St Louis to get RGIII?

I think this is a case of Shanahan trying to get fired so he doesn't have to quit and give up 7 million dollars.

The owner should be banned from sports. He actually sued an old woman on Social Security.

of Jones funny. I also root for his team (in my own way) to beat the Skins when they play.
