dating back to the Super Bowl debacle against the Giants.
If Brady spends Saturday night getting sacked again for the fourth playoff game in five years, our decade long contender status is officially over. Kraft will fire O-Line coach Dante Scarnecchia, which in my opinion he should have done after the Jets loss last year, but we'll never get back to elite status with Brady under center again.
As a lifelong fan, I have no compaints. I have seen 3 trophies in my lifetime when it seemed improbable that I would ever see one. Players and coaches will come and go for decades before Boston sees the likes of Tom Brady again, of this I am certain.
I'll be pushing up daisies with both hands on the day we hold that trophy up again. Maybe one of my grandchildren will stop by and throw an old Patriot Pat hat on my grave.
This, by the way, is as optimistic as a Pats fan of 40+ years will get this time of year.
GO Pats !
Ah, no.
Don't lump me in with those Pats fans!
