(64,413 posts)There is nothing more boring than watching a manager waste time by blowing his top over a bad call when everyone in the park and everyone watching on TV knows they aren't changing the call.
At least with replay, the extra time may result in a reversal of bad call.
Weaver was a tool.

(20,365 posts)Arguments, like Weaver's, are an entertaining part of the game. They really get people excited.

(64,920 posts)most fans either head to fridge or the beer stand at the park when a pointless argument starts.

(64,413 posts)I don't find them the least bit entertaining. They're a huge waste of everybody's time and accomplish nothing. I don't find grown men throwing tantrums to be a fun thing to watch.

(64,413 posts)We really disagree on this one. Arguing knowing it will lead to nothing is a huge waste of time for me. At least with replay there is a decent chance the call will be reversed to make it right.

(20,365 posts)the replay feed to New York was down.
I thought that Selig wanted to speed up the game not make it slower.
