and instinctively threw his arms forward to break his fall. His hands landed on the umpire, for which he was ejected from the game, suspended and fined ("Don't touch the blue suit&quot . Fortunately, the league office reviewed the play, decided that the contact had been incidental, reinstated the player and cleared his record.

My son is a wrestler who is All-American in Greco. Putting your hands out is asking for broken bones. He wrestles 195, threw a guy who put his hands out and dislocated his elbow. 400 pounds beats tendons any day.

That said, soccer guys probably don't have that training. That was a ridiculous flop. The initial contact was dumb, too, though.
