Broncos Owner Gives Up Control of Team Due to Alzheimer’s disease

Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen will relinquish control of the team after acknowledging he is dealing with Alzheimer’s disease.

Team president Joe Ellis will assume control of the team, according to the Denver Post.

“It’s a really, really sad day,” Ellis said. “It’s sad for his family, his wife and his seven children. It’s sad for everyone in the organization. And it’s sad for all the Bronco fans who know what Pat Bowlen meant to them as an owner. It’s a day nobody wanted to see happen.”
The 70-year-old Bowlen has led the Broncos to two Super Bowl championships in six appearances in his 30 years as owner.

That is a shame. 70 is much too young.

Even though my mother died of this horrible disease?

No, he is still a Republican ass-hole. "Predominantly Orange"? What a jerk!

Today's entire Denver Post was nothing but a fawning tribute to him. And he isn't even dead!

That being said, no one disputes that he is a repuke and part of the .01%'ers.

BTW, what the heck is the deal with the fur coat?
