Raiders' Charles Woodson / team rally for Napa quake victims

Management and employees of Oakland Raiders player Charles Woodson's Napa winery, Twenty Four Wines, celebrate a touchdown with other Napans in a suite during the Oakland Raiders vs. Seattle Seahawks final pre-season game on Thursday at O.co Coliseum in Oakland. The Raiders, who hold preseason training in Napa, are raising money for Napa earthquake victims.

The day before, the team donated $50,000 to be split between the Red Cross and the Napa Valley Unified School District. They are also encouraging fans to donate to the Red Cross or to the Napa Valley Education Foundation.

During Thursday's game they announced that fans could text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation to those affected by the quake. In addition, Woodson and his team at Twenty Four Wines will continue with fundraising events. MOB (Making Oakland Better), a grassroots organization working to improve the city of Oakland, holds a 72-hour tailgate party before every home game.

This week, they collected, food, clothing, blankets, toiletries and money for Napa residents. The amount raised Thursday was not yet known.
