I stopped paying close attention after Manning threw that apparently didn't count which I didn't realize way after the fact, then I look up and see Thomas and gave up on the game. Thomas does have enough of a arm for the NFL but it's his legs where he is effective, he had the fastest 40-time of QBs eligible for the 2014 draft. He also broke his current head coach's record school record at Virginia Tech for most rushing TDs as a QB. I know what some people are thinking--Vick only played 2 seasons while Arians was a QB in an option offense. The final preseason game Arians didn't use the offensive playbook but rather a package of plays he was familiar with that used his legs.

He then throws the luckiest first career TD pass of all-time. It is hard to prove otherwise he meant to squeeze that throw in that window but I think he made the throw and hoped for the best because he was about to be punished.
